The most anticipated annual block party in town. Although linen attire is not required, it is encouraged!  One must wear white – or risk standing out in the crowd. An annual fundraiser for the Contemporary Arts Center this year’s Hancock Whitney White Linen Night is Saturday, August 4th from 5:30-9:30 p.m on the 300 to 700 blocks of Julia Street.  Admission to this party of art and revelry is free.  Enjoy galleries, live music, and most importantly, people watching.  All purchase of food and drink support the CAC and the Arts District New Orleans.

Fair warning, it will be HOT, keep fresh by ducking off into these air-conditioned “cool spots”:

CAC's Cool Down Lounge
Auction House Market, 801 Magazine St., until 9:30 p.m. Admission is $40 for CAC members and $50 for nonmembers. Tickets include two drinks, bites, seating with A/C, restrooms, plus access to the Official CAC White Linen Party After Dark.

504ward White Linen Night Connections Party
An annual private event at the Louisiana Children's Museum, 420 Julia Street. Admission is $35 (early bird) or $45. Tickets include all you can drink specialty cocktails, Urban South beer, and wine, food, access to bathrooms, a and surprise giveaway. As lagniappe this year you can add on to your Connections Party ticket purchase, a 50%-off-ticket for the CAC White Linen Party After Dark.

Enjoy the weekend and remember to create the life you love!
